Site Overview
The Intersection Business and Industry Park, a 200-acre regional industrial park located in the southwestern part of Virginia, is a fully vetted, “shovel-ready” Tier 5 Business Ready site as designated by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership. This regional industrial park was developed and is owned by the Lonesome Pine Regional Industrial Facilities Authority (LPRIFA), a partnership of member localities consisting of Lee, Wise, Scott, and Dickenson Counties, and the City of Norton, VA.
Pad #2 at Intersection Business and Industry Park is approximately 9 acres that was designed for a building size of up to 150,000 SF. The optimal footprint for the building size of Pad #2 is approximately 100,000 SF +/-.

Working cooperatively with the region’s community colleges and universities and the industry-driven Southwest Virginia Alliance for Manufacturing (SVAM), companies locating in Southwest Virginia’s e-Region have access to fast-track, tailored training and advanced manufacturing technology. Mountain Empire and Southwest Virginia Community College also provide training for Virginia’s Career Readiness Certificate (CRC), an assessment-based credential that gives employers and career seekers a uniform measure of key workplace skills.
