Where is Southwest Virginia’s e-Region?

The e-Region’s location makes it an ideal location to serve markets in the East and Mid-America, as well as the world’s marketplace.

One of the East Coast’s new centers for electronic information technology, energy, education, emerging specialty manufacturing, and entrepreneurs, the e-Region is strategically located midway between Atlanta-Pittsburgh, Charlotte-Cincinnati, and Richmond-Louisville, and is within a day’s drive of more than half of the U.S. population.  

Interstates 77, 81, 75, 64, and 26, excellent four-lane arteries (U.S. 19, 23, 58, 460, and 421), high-speed broadband, and wireless enhance the region’s accessibility and add to its appeal as a quality location in which to live and work.  

Southwest Virginia’s e-Region also borders three states and takes advantage of a mobile workforce used to commuting and proximity to the Tri-Cities TN/VA district with a population of around a half million. 

An environmentally diverse and scenic part of the U.S., Southwest Virginia’s e-Region includes Buchanan, Dickenson, Lee, Russell, Scott, Tazewell, and Wise counties and the City of Norton.
